Why this is harder than it should be
A relocation puts a date on the calendar that everything else has to fit around. A traditional listing cannot promise a closing date, which means either leaving a house on the market from another state or delaying the move.
Carrying two homes is the outcome nobody plans for and plenty of people end up with — a mortgage, insurance and utilities on an empty house you are no longer nearby to look after.

If you need to be out later than the sale, we can often arrange for you to lease the property back after closing so the money is settled before the dates are.
